Safer driving starts with you        National Road Safety Campaign Launch

The Australian Government’s National Road Safety Campaign aims to remind and reinforce safe driving behaviours and encourages all road users to reflect on their actions behind the wheel.

The campaign’s tagline, ‘Don’t Let a Car Change Who You Are’, drives self-reflection, asking drivers to re-evaluate their own driving and the attitude they adopt when in the car.

You wouldn’t tailgate somebody walking around the park, or take unnecessary risks by aggressively overtaking in the supermarket queue, so why do it when you’re driving?

Poor driving behaviours, such as distraction, impatience, risk-taking, tailgating, and speeding create unsafe driving outcomes for all road-users.

The campaign aims to address these and make Australia’s roads safer for everybody.

The Australian Government has developed a range of resources to help promote the campaign.

Please share with your networks, to remind them to be safe on the roads.
