NSW DTA 2020-21 AGM 18 July 2021, Sydney

Bringing a better breed of Driver Trainers to NSW

A lot has happened since our last Association AGM in August 2019. Despite major business impact from Covid throughout 2020, the Association has managed to evolve with a significant make-over in how we represent Members and how we’re presented to the public.

As a Member-run NFP Association represented by an elected Committee of your peers, the NSW DTA needs Member-involvement from the grass roots level (joining) to top tier direction (Committee officers).

Over the past 18-months since adopting new resolutions and Committee Members, we have grown and achieved a lot to build our presence and commitment to learner drivers to get the best possible (Best Practice) NSW driving instruction by responsible trainers including:

  • New Association website to share news, resources and information
  • Member Directory for the public to Find an Instructor in their area
  • Strong new branding along with Member Cards, shirts & car decals
  • An ongoing voice with state and orgs to influence safer driving
  • Outreach to Members via Facebook page and regular emails
  • A P/T Admin Officer to assist members & run our Association
  • Support for Members on incidents or items affecting their business
  • Investment in media to grow our public recognition (10k+ web visits)

Review our strengths – Give us suggestions – Share your insights – Explore our future – Run for Committee

This is a very special NSW DTA event

While we are promoting this AGM on Facebook and our website as open to attend by all, please note topics all relate to Driving Schools and Instructors with voting rights for Resolutions and Officers accepted only from Members so be sure you are a current financial Member (2021). You still have time to renew your NSW DTA Membership.

Help us plan Regional Roadshows and more online Forums for later this year. We look forward to your input at the AGM and your Nominations so our Committee can continue to be the voice of professional NSW Driver Trainers. Stay tuned for details. We look forward to seeing everyone on 18 July 2021.
