$60 toll relief cap to help with cost of living
The NSW Government’s $60 weekly cap on personal toll trips is designed to help private vehicle owners with the cost of living.
From January 2024, every quarter, eligible motorists who spend between $60 and $400 a week on tolls for a tag or licence plate number can claim a rebate of up to $340 a week, on each one depending on their toll spend.
Registration and claims opened in April 2024 and will be backdated from 1 January 2024.
The toll relief $60 weekly cap scheme is available in 2024 and 2025. For more information and to check eligibility, visit Service NSW.
We have prepared a toolkit to help you communicate about the toll relief $60 weekly cap. The toolkit contains suggested newsletter/website copy, social media assets and a how-to video with captions in Chinese, Arabic and Korean.
