Changes to Driving/Riding Instructor’s Licence applications

Please note that Driving/Riding Instructor’s Licence application will no longer require a police interview and a Driving Instructor – Police questionnaire to be completed.

These changes have come into effect from 27 October 2020 following amendments to the Driving Instructors Act 1992. 

The Transport for NSW website has been updated to reflect these changes. For information on what documents and checks are required for a Driving/Riding Instructor’s Licence application, please visit www.rms.nsw.gov.au
