Welcome to the April 2024 edition of DRIVE Lite – Driving Instructors.

In this edition we inform our older driver assessors of a refreshed resource ‘The Road Ahead’, as well as some insights into the statistics transport collects regarding driving instructors. For MLTTS, Transport has improved the way customers can search for the scheme.

The Road Ahead – a tool for older driver assessors

Older driver assessors are encouraged to make use of the new resource ‘The Road Ahead’, to help older people make safe and informed choices about driving, riding and walking.

Quarterly Statistics for Driving Instructors

Every quarter, Transport records data on a range of items across the driving instructor scheme, including how many new applications we receive and how many instructors we suspend.

New way to search for MLTTS sites

Customers will now find it easier to search for a Motorcycle Licence Training and Testing Scheme (MLTTS) site.
