New requirements for overseas licence holders

Please prepare yourself

If an overseas licence holder arrives in NSW on or after 1 July 2023 & they remain here for 6 months or more , they will be required to convert their overseas licence to a NSW licence, either via automatic conversation or undertaking a driving test (depending on the origin of the overseas licence ).

There is no change to the current regulaations at this stage if they arrive prior to 1 July
